We helped teachers gain a holistic view of their students
Aginic was selected as the implementation partner to deliver a Territory wide Reporting and Analytics solution for the Northern Territory Education Department. eDash is built on SQL Server and Microsoft Power BI and is deployed embedded within a web environment (Intranet).

We successfully delivered Phase 1 of the solution in the first half of 2018, rolling out to 3000+ users across the Territory including DoE staff, school principals and teachers. Staff now have access to student and school performance as well as quality and risk indicators. Our Agile approach was embraced by the department and the project is being held up as one of the most successful in NT Education in recent history.
The outcomes of the project are as follows:
- Access to information – Teachers now have access to information that they previously could not retrieve related to detailed student performance and risk factors;
- Performance monitoring – The department now has visibility of the performance and quality outcomes across the whole service. Allowing for proactive management and improved educational service; and
- Drill down to transactional detail – a modern ‘in-memory’ reporting architecture that allows users to drill through to the detail, rather than running static aggregated reports;
