Wall of fame

On the anniversary of 5 years, our team creates their own custom lego figure. Some represent a hobby, some are true avatars of self, and some are just how they felt that day!

What advice would you give someone starting out at Aginic?
There are no stupid questions and don’t be afraid to give everything a red hot go. Failure is the greatest teacher. We love flearning (learning from failure)!

What makes you stick around?
The people and flexibility! You know we’ve got each others’ backs because everyone at Aginic really cares about our wellbeing. The ability to shape your own path at Aginic with the option to adapt as you go has been a very rewarding and stimulating experience.

Your biggest achievement while working at Aginic?
I’m really proud of the fact that I seized the opportunity to do a whole heap of FIFO interstate projects and lived in different cities for work during the early Aginic days. Even scored myself a great friend from the process of flatmating with one of the colleagues 😉

What advice would you give someone starting out at Aginic?
Don’t be afraid to get to know how we work and the people that make up Aginic.  We do some awesome things with awesome people and the more you work on different projects with different people, the easier it will be to find out what drives you and where you want to focus your passion.

What makes you stick around? The people and the projects.
We have an amazing group of people that I love working with. You can easily find someone at Aginic that shares your interests and can make great friends.  The range of projects we do is very broad so we’re always learning something new and can find things that we’re passionate about.

Your biggest achievement while working at Aginic?
Going from someone who knows very little about how healthcare works to someone who has helped numerous Health departments solve a wide variety of problems. All while learning a massive amount about healthcare along the way.

What advice would you give someone starting out at Aginic?
It’s ok to not know everything, and our crew loves to answer questions and help out. Ask those stupid questions! 🙂

What makes you stick around?
What I love the most is the never-ending flow of exciting opportunities with a great group of people! I haven’t had a chance to get bored yet, and I can’t imagine I will anytime soon.

Your biggest achievement while working at Aginic?
One of them would be introducing design thinking methods to our projects in early 2018, and since then being part of embedding that mindset into all our client engagements. Now it’s a core part of how we solve problems and deliver awesome outcomes!

What advice would you give someone starting out at Aginic?
You’re here because you have an awesome mind, so make sure you use it lots! Push yourself to do tricky things – it will help you learn quickly and also allow you to suss out what things you’re suited (or not!). Having said that, don’t be afraid to stand on the shoulders of giants – seek help when you’re stuck – everyone is friendly and loves a challenge. If you’re early in your career perspective, try lots of things out, and avoid pigeon holing your technical skills. Having said that it can be great to be famous for something as your career progresses, whether that’s industry knowledge or a skill set.

What makes you stick around?
A bunch of my mates are here and more generally everyone seems to be absolute legends. Couldn’t face a big hairy faceless corporate!

Your biggest achievement while working at Aginic?
I’m probably proudest of the culture we’ve created here. This is a collective achievement of course and takes work from everyone.

What advice would you give someone starting out at Aginic?
Learn as much as you can – don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions – everyone is friendly and happy to help you learn.

What makes you stick around?
The people – the people are awesome and if I ever left I would miss that part of Aginic the most

Your biggest achievement while working at Aginic?
The amount that I’ve learnt over the years – You don’t realise how much you pick up but I know so much more about ways of working and technical aspects of data projects these days.
